Trash Free Maryland, ShoreRivers, Osprey Initiative, and the City of Cambridge, MD, are hosting a cleanup of Cambridge Creek on April 18th! Join us to clean up trash and litter, learn about ways to assess the sources of trash, and explore lasting policy solutions that can reduce and prevent trash and litter dumping in the first place.

Trash Free Maryland and Howard Park Civic Association will host a community litter cleanup along Powder Mill Lane on May 2, 2026. Join us to remove litter and explore lasting solutions to prevent littering and dumping along the edges of the community and Powder Mill Run.

Cambridge Trash Boom Installation & Cleanup
ShoreRivers, Trash Free Maryland, Osprey Initiative, and the City of Cambridge are gathering to host a cleanup and event to celebrate the installation of a trash boom (trash interceptor) in Cambridge, MD. The trash boom will catch trash and litter and prevent it from flowing downstream to the Choptank River.

Baltimore City’s beloved local breweries team up with Trash Free Maryland to harness the power of their communities to turn the tide on litter. Volunteers receive vouchers for a free refreshing beverage, which is honored at each participating brewery after the cleanup!
